I’ve been doing leatherwork since my grandfather gave me a Deluxe Leathercraft kit for Christmas when I was 12 years old. I’ve hand crafted everything from belts and wallets to custom leather book covers, gun holsters and knife cases. I’ve always had an interest in art and drawing and won awards for mechanical drawing in high school. I even chose architectural & mechanical drawing as my college major.
I worked in the aftermarket automobile industry for 15 years, where I learned to work on vintage automobile interiors and convertible tops. I later took this knowledge to the marine industry, repairing and creating replacement canvas for boats.
I’ve acquired a variety of sewing machines that will handle everything from drapes to 3/4 inch leather. This work is what I love to do and I look forward to working on your project with you!
